A busy mum has revealed her very clever $29 solution to her daughter's chaotic, toy-covered room after becoming fed up with the constant mess.
The thrifty homemaker was sick of seeing stuffed toys everywhere so headed to Kmart to look for a solution.
And she found one, in the shape of a giant, rainbow beanbag cover which now doubles as a cool 'hangout zone' for her daughter.
A busy mum has revealed her very clever $29 solution to her daughter's chaotic, toy-covered room after becoming fed up with the constant mess
'I put a key ring on the zip so that my little one can access the toys when she needs to. She thinks it’s comfy, and and that’s all that matters,' the mum wrote alongside photos of the stuffed bean bag on a popular Kmart fan's Facebook page.
The 'hack' was described as 'genius' and awesome by other mums who plan to do the same with their stuffed toys.
'This is a great idea ours currently full of beans but I’m scared the dog is going to pop it definitely changing over to stuffed toys,' one woman said.
'Just ordered mine - my son loves anything fluffy and rainbows - he has stuffed toys everywhere- this is perfect,' said another.
Some adding the 'genius' element of the hack came down to the details.
'Ahhh key ring, great idea. I too have mine full of stuff toys but hadn't figured out the best way fir the kids to open it,' one mum said.
Others revealed they also use beanbags to hide their mess.
'I’ve done this with two large bean bags in my lounge and every time you sit on one of them Donkey from Shrek speaks to you,' one woman said.
The mum said her daughter thinks the beanbag is super comfy - and shard this picture of her taking a nap on her toy collection
The beanbag is just $29 at Kmart - and has been very popular with the mums in the group
One mum wished she had thought about it when their own children were into stuffed toys.
'This is so smart. I wish I saw this about six years ago, when my son was younger. My mind is blown,' she wrote.
The only downside to the hack is that the bean bag is 'quite heavy' the mum revealed.
But others said that could be a positive point because it can't be dragged around the house easily.
