She’s a natural born lap cat that will take affection from anyone willing to give it – even a giant stuffed bunny! Liberty is a special girl. She was diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia. To put it simply, she has a neurological disorder that affects her ability to walk. She has had it from birth and although she wobbles and appears uncoordinated, she gets around fine and is improving with age. When Liberty arrived at the shelter a year ago, she was barely able to walk. She’s almost 2 years old now, and can run and play with the other cats. Liberty doesn’t notice that she’s different, and she certainly doesn’t let it stop her. If you have room in your heart for this sweet girl, please call Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary at 239-283-9100 or if you’d rather just donate, our address is 10060 Mallory Parkway, E., Unit D, St, James City, FL, 33956 or there’s always our website www.helpingpawsanimalsanctuary.com.
